Time is ticking, and a wake up call is always a good thing. 8 weeks to go! gawd I don’t feel anywhere ready yet…. its time to live mindfully. While these video diaries are helping me stay accountable they are also, ever so slightly, stressing me as i haven’t posted same day as I make them so i feel like I’m always trying to catch up, thats not fun. To combat this and bring some peeeaacce into my life I am posting daily as I do them and simultaneously getting the other ones up so they are all on youtube eventually in a beautifully ordered playlist.

Mindfulness  is about living in The NOW, its what the buddhists are all over. For someone like me who has a thousands thoughts and goals running through their head at any given time it can be quite difficult. Being mindful helps you to appreciate and enjoy those you love and the life you have instead of missing it all because you are too busy doing the “gotta do this, gotta finish that” thing. Its smelling those sweet sweet roses, or the lavender is probably better for me 😉

Hopefully it will help me not scream at the kids in the morning as I am shunting them all in the car to get to school before the bell…. because thats no fun
